Skaters of all ages have an opportunity to show what they are made of, with registrations for the Revolve Skate Series now open.

The popular event is now part of a three leg cumulative series held in Kalbarri, Geraldton and Jurien Bay.

City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn is thrilled to announce the series return.

“Revolve was a huge success with the community last year, and it’s fantastic to see it coming back to Wonthella Skate Park on Saturday 26 March,” he said.

“The prize pool has increased to a whopping $2,500 on the day, plus skaters have an extra chance to clean up with the series if they’re keen to travel.

“Live music is also returning and there may be other surprises in store on the day, too, so make sure you follow the event on Facebook for more updates.”

Competition categories include under 8’s, under 12’s and under 16’s as well as an open category and best trick.

Live music will be cranking throughout the day, with local legend Ratsalad slated to make an appearance alongside Perth band Indigo Blaze.

Registration is open now and competitors can sign up via the LiveHeats website.

Free Skate Today drop-in workshops are also being held in the lead up to the competition and will take place every Monday from 5pm at GRAMS Reserve and Wednesday from 5pm at Wonthella Skate Park.

Additional Sunday sessions will also take place from 20 February at Wonthella Skate Park from 4pm.

The Revolve Skate Series is made possible thanks to support from Healthway, Rio Tinto, Infinity Skate WA and the City of Greater Geraldton.
