There's always so much things to see and do in Greater Geraldton! Here's just a snippet of what's happening this weekend.


Fishing: Offshore Charters are leaving the Marina early and if you’re interested in catching fresh fish give Kim a call to book your spot! Contact him via 0428 531 231.

International Women’s Day Dinner: Inspiring women's dinner at the Zeewijk Restaurant, Tafe. Tickets can be purchased via EventBrite or by emailing Sarah O’Malley via sarahO@desertblueconnect.org.au. Dinner starts at 6.30pm.

  • The Geraldton Hotel: Joan and the Giants at 7pm. 


Farmers Market: Paddock to plate. Local fresh produce, Maitland Park on Maitland St, 8am - 12pm
Geraldton Regional Art Gallery.

Life Drawing: Artists of all abilities invited to a life drawing class! Easels, drawing boards and clothed models provided. Artists need their own drawing materials and classes are untutored from 1pm-3pm. $10pp.

Speedway: Geraldton City Speedway presents the Supermod Country Round, gates open at 3pm, Burnie Clune Drive Moonyoonoooka, hot food and refreshments available, bar open, no BYO, adults $10, kids 12 to 16 years $10, families $35. 

Horse Racing: Geraldton Turf Club Race Day, 71 Eastward Road, 12pm.

Dongara Denison Drive In: Catch Aquaman at Port Leander Drive. Gates open at 5.30pm, hot food and refreshments available. Tickets adults $10, kids $5 under 5 years free.

Ocean Film Festival World Tour: Immerse yourself into the wonders of the ocean. The Festival features a selection of the world’s most captivating ocean themed short films. From 7pm, bring a picnic and the bar will be open. Queens Park Amphitheatre and tickets are $21.50 to $31.50.

Dive: If you would like to dive the coral reefs of the beautiful Abrolhos Islands please contact Batavia Coast Dive & Water Sports tea, on 9921 4229.

  • The Geraldton Hotel: Sinful Saturdays with Platform 2.


Railway Market: Local produce, cooked foods and homemade goods galore! Geraldton Railway Station rear platform Chapman Road, 8am - 12pm.

Lions Club Community Markets: On this weekend at the Bill Sewell Complex from 8am. Loads of plants, books and second hand goods.

Dive: Batavia Coast Dive and Water Sports will be diving the South Tomi permitting the weather.  Contact them to get involved on 9921 4229.

Sundays by the Sea: Grab a picnic rug, some friends, a bite to eat and relax to good tunes as the sun goes down, Stow Gardens, next to the Multipurpose Centre on the Geraldton Foreshore. From 4.30pm - 7.30pm.
