There's always so much things to see and do in Greater Geraldton! Here's just a snippet of what's happening this weekend.

Friday

Theatre 8: Jack and the Beanstalk on showcase! Doors open at 2.30pm for the 3pm show and 6.30pm for the 7pm show. Adults $25 and kids under 12 years $15. Purchase your tickets from www.trybooking.com.au

Geraldton Sun City Carnival: Rides, games, show bags and carnival food. At Maitland Park Cathedral Avenue from 5pm to late.

Live music:

  • Geraldton Hotel: Free Friday fun with Josh Perth at 7pm to 10pm. 
  • The Wintersun Hotel: Sideways Ms. Jane at 8pm.
  • The Provincial: Anne Williams from 9pm to 11pm. 

Saturday

Farmers Market: Paddock to plate with local fresh produce at Maitland Park from 8am - 12pm.

Polocrosse: Food and drinks available as well as tunes at night. Mullewa Polocrosse Grounds from 8am.

Wild West Bike Tour: Starting from Northampton Golf Club at 12pm for 1pm start. $15 entry includes lunch and entrants will ride from Northampton to Nabawa. Email Peter to register via petert2@cgg.wa.gov.au

Sunday

Railway Market: Local produce, arts and crafts, cooked foods and homemade goods! Rear platform at Geraldton Railway Station from 8am - 12pm.

Polocrosse: Mullewa Polocrosse Grounds from 8am. Food and drinks available. Call 9961 9043 for more information.

Batavia Longboat Replica Sail: Enjoy a sail on the Replica Longboat at the Batavia Marina in front of Museum from 11am, 1pm and 3pm.

Chapman River Friends: Join a volunteer guide for a guided nature walk along the Chapman River. Please wear appropriate clothing and BYO water bottle. Walk goes from 2pm – 4pm and meet at West End Car Park Fairfax Road Moresby.

Hogs Breath Café: Quiz Night Chapman Athletic Club from 6.30pm - 8.30pm.

Live music:

  • Geraldton Hotel: Mack from 6pm - 9pm. 
  • Harbour View: Violin/Piano duo – Anne Kimberley and HarbourView’s David will be entertaining guests from 2pm onwards.
  • The Provincial: Josh Morphett in the courtyard from 9pm - 11pm.
