Metamorphose Masks
What mask will you select – a beautiful colourful butterfly, a cute spotted ladybird or a fearsome stinging wasp? Learn about the life cycle of your chosen insect and the important role it plays in keeping our biodiversity healthy as you create your mask at home. Get ready to transform (metamorphose) into your chosen insect!

Make a Minibeast
This activity is for young entomologists, or those who are just curious about the intricate workings of insects. Discover and explore the specialised features of an insect, collect an air-dry clay kit so you can design and make your own minibeast at home.

Snap a Bug!
Use your smartphone or camera to capture the diverse world of insects in the Museum’s garden. This is a family activity for all ages, where you will learn some tips and tricks of macro photography from experienced Geraldton photographer Ken Lawson. Please bring your smartphone or camera, hat, water bottle and sunscreen.
