The Hampton Arms Inn
The Hampton Arms Inn is a historic wayside inn on Company Road, Greenough; about 20 minutes’ drive south of Geraldton.
The Hampton was opened in 1863 and named after the first governor of Western Australia who came up from Perth to open the hotel. It sits in approximately 12 acres of grounds, with the shearing shed having been converted to a residence for the present owners.
Hampton Arms features dining, bar and function room as well as Hampton Books. This gem of a bookshop houses rare and out of print books from across the globe. You could spend hours poring over the shelves of more than 10,000 books featuring a broad range of subjects.
