Comedy cruise to visit Geraldton

Geraldton will be buzzing with comedy fans this weekend when the Pacific Explorer calls into port as part of a three-night comedy cruise.

A last-minute addition to the 2023/2024 cruise calendar this visit from the Pacific Explorer will be the first time a cruise ship has come into port for two consecutive days.

City of Greater Geraldton Deputy Mayor Natasha Colliver is looking forward to welcoming the guests.

“The timing of this visit is fantastic as the passengers and crew will be able to soak up the weekend atmosphere of our Foreshore and CBD as well as the ever-popular Platform Markets,” she said.

“A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful cruise ship volunteers and key stakeholders as well as our partners Mid West Ports Authority and Euphorium for all their hard work in continually delivering such a brilliant experience to our cruise guests.

“I look forward to seeing this latest group of visitors at the weekend as they enjoy the best of the Midwest.”

The Pacific Explorer will arrive in Geraldton on the morning of Saturday 20 April and head back out to sea for the evening then return to Geraldton the following morning before returning to Fremantle on the evening of Sunday 21 April, a Cruise Ship Welcome Hub will be in operation both days between Regional Sounds and the Geraldton Yacht Club.
