School holidays are near and the always popular Spring School Holiday Program is here!
Delivered by the City of Greater Geraldton and community organisations, young people are invited to participate an engaging range of free and paid activities during the break.
City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Jerry Clune said there is something for everyone.
“Young people can look forward to skateboarding and basketball alongside arts and crafts at the brand-new Geraldton Youth Centre as well as drop-in science hours at the Museum of Geraldton and much more,” he said.
“I’m also especially excited that this year’s program coincides with WA Bike Month and am particularly looking forward to the Geraldton Family Bike Adventure thanks to the Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure.
“I encourage parents and youngsters to check out the City’s website for more information and secure spots quickly, as these events are sure to book out.”
The City would like to thank Rio Tinto for their support of the program through the Youth Vibrancy Partnership.
This program aligns with the “Connected” theme of the City’s Strategic Community Plan 2025 – 2035, Your Voice – Our Future as well as the Geraldton Youth Strategy 2024 – 2029.
Head to the City's website to view the full program and to Humanitix to book your places.
Organisers interested in delivering an activity or workshop with the City in future school holiday programs are encouraged to complete a School Holiday Program Expression of Interest form or contact the City’s Youth Team on 9956 6600.
