Artists, designers, inventors and crafters now have the opportunity to showcase their creations in the heart of the Geraldton CBD.
Midwest creatives are invited to submit expressions of interest to have their work displayed in Rocks Laneway as part of the new Rocks Laneway Pop Up Gallery.
City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn said it was a great opportunity.
“We are fortunate to have such an abundance of creative individuals in the Midwest,” he said.
“By providing this opportunity, we are not only shining a light on local artworks, but also enticing more members of the public into the CBD thus adding vibrancy and increasing opportunity for our established businesses.
“I urge everyone who wishes to introduce their handiwork to the community to submit an expression of interest for this fantastic opportunity.”
The Rocks Laneway Pop Up Gallery is part of the City of Greater Geraldton’s City Centre Revitalisation Plan and Rocks Laneway Redevelopment.
The scheme is open to individual applicants of all ages and experience levels as well as community groups and curators of group exhibitions.
