Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church

No trip to Mullewa is complete without visiting Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Widely acknowledged as Monsignor John Hawes’ finest work, the structure was designed and built almost entirely by the Hawes with the help of local farmers. Complete with a façade that echoes the old churches of Southern Europe, it is impossible not to be enchanted by the romance of this building.
