Warmer weather is here and now is the perfect time for families to start planning how to keep their young people engaged and entertained over the school holidays.
Bursting with exciting activities, the City of Greater Geraldton’s Spring School Holiday Program is the ultimate boredom buster.
City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Jerry Clune said the program offered a fantastic mix of fun, sport, creativity and social connection throughout the break.
“These school holidays we are excited to include Australia’s fastest-growing sport, pickleball, for the first time alongside the always-popular 3v3 basketball tournament and surfing lessons,” he said.
“For those who are more art than athlete, there will be plenty of creative opportunities, including painting classes with Sunflower Studio and our first tie-dye workshop.
“I encourage parents and young people to check out the City’s website for more information and secure their spots early, as these events are sure to book out.”
The City would like to thank Rio Tinto for their continued support of the School Holiday Program for young people aged 10-17 years through the Youth Vibrancy Partnership.
This program aligns with the Connected theme of the City’s Strategic Community Plan and reflects the organisation’s commitment to supporting and celebrating the community through programs, initiatives and events that build social connections.
