Geraldton is a fabulous spot for the family – just ask the people that live here! And if you’re visiting our great city, you’ll feel the same. With some great activities to keep the kids and the whole family entertained, it’s no wonder Geraldton is a top destination for a school holiday vacation.

Foreshore

It’s our crowning jewel and it keeps families coming back again and again! Our lush Foreshore is definitely an outing that will keep the whole family entertained. Keep the young ones amused with a variety of playgrounds including a waterpark, toddler playground, youth precinct – and everything in between! Need to cool out between plays? If the waterpark isn’t enough, hit up the beautiful white sandy beaches which are protected to create calm waters for all swimmers. And if Mum and Dad need to take a break, there are plenty of cafes for a coffee hit!

With wide footpaths aplenty it’s the perfect spot for a leisurely bike ride or scooter ride with the fam. And if those little legs aren’t too tired, take a walk down the Esplanade for sprawling views and a look at some sea lions.
