When the sun starts to set, it’s not the end of exploring for those visiting Greater Geraldton – just the beginning. Some of the best experiences in the region take place after dark and can range from activities like yoga, watching the sunset at a rooftop bar or grabbing a drink at a moody wine bar.

Sunset Yoga

Yoga cultivates health, wellbeing and just all around good vibes! Enjoy a free session every Wednesday at Stow Gardens on the Geraldton Foreshore thanks to the City of Greater Geraldton. Yoga is a great way to increase strength, flexibility and coordination. Get your stretch on with a local facilitator and enjoy one the community’s most loved initiatives. No RSVPs required.

Old Man & The Sea Rooftop Bar

Grab a drink at one of Geraldton’s newest hotspots while watching the sun go down. The Old Man & The Sea Rooftop Bar sits atop of the region’s luxury hotel The Gerald and serves lunch, dinner and tasty cocktails. It’s an awesome location if you’re wanting to wind down after a day of exploring (or working) and is a great way to see Geraldton.

Sunset at Beresford Foreshore

The Beresford Foreshore has just recently opened and sports new pathways, shade structures, playground, barbecues and daybeds. It is one of the nicest places to hang out with the family and watch the sunset, especially when paired with some tasty fish and chips.

The Provincial

A little slice of Melbourne in the Geraldton CBD! The Provincial or “Prov” as the locals like to call it have a refreshing range of beers on tap and a generous selection of wines, spirits and cocktails. The interior styling has a moody industrial vibe and there’s also a cosy courtyard. A local musician usually performs after 5pm, so pull up a chair, order one of the tasty wood-fired pizzas and enjoy a relaxed evening at one of the trendiest places in town.

The Provincial
The Provincial Geraldton is centrally located in the West End of Marine Terrace and has a unique "Melbourne-feel".

Cutler & Smith

A mecca for tapas and craft beer. This trendy bar is centrally located and has a great atmosphere that’s created through the use of furniture, concrete, exposed brick and exposed pipework. The overall aesthetic creates a moody ambience and makes for a wonderful place to wind down and replenish. The food is sure to make your tastebuds dance and the menu has everything from housemade hot wings with blue cheese to crispy mushrooms with spinach pesto.

Drinks aboard the Eco Abrolhos

Cruise around the Geraldton Marina on board one of the region’s premium vessels whilst watching the sun go down. The Eco Abrolhos’ harbour cruises are extremely popular and it’s no wonder why with the selection of meals and drinks on offer! Local performers usually play a couple of tunes, creating a fun vibe throughout the ship.
